Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited in East Malling is seeking a Design Coordinator to join their established interior design consultancy. You will coordinate technical information, liaise with clients, internal departments and external consultants, and ensure design documentation is accurate and delivered to programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Design Coordinator or similar technical coordination role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and outstanding proofreading skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent coordination skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks from inception through to completion.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors and consultants.
• Proactive in obtaining information from stakeholders.
• Ability to distribute workloads effectively to internal teams and coordinate project activities.
• Passion for problem solving with a flair for design and practical solutions.
• Committed to delivering high-quality work while meeting client expectations and project deadlines.

Responsibilities
