CAD Technician (Contract)

A4 Plus are looking for a CAD Technician to support our customer based in Ryton (South of Coventry). This is an on-site position, so please only apply if you are happy to work at the customer's premises.

Initial contract 3 months. (Could be extended)

The Job

To provide CAD Support to the drawing office, by preparing/producing engineering drawings and documents. The client is in the groundworks/piling industry, so experience with BIM Standards is essential.

You will ensure all work produced meets the required CAD standard, maintaining 1A procedures including drawing registers, electronic, and non-electronic filing as appropriate. You will also contact customers and liaise with technical representatives to obtain key data.

The Person

1. Experienced in 2D AutoCAD Essential
2. 3D experience - preferable.
3. Construction industry (groundworks, piling experience) preferred.

Rates Negotiable dependent on experience.
