Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland is recruiting an Assistant Branch Manager for our Exeter site to support the branch manager in driving sales and delivering first-class customer service. You will lead a shop floor team, control costs and stock, and help manage key accounts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have automotive industry experience, a track record in leadership and a commitment to customer satisfaction. The role is on-site with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Ability to lead a team and drive sales with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience with online and Windows-based cataloguing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager to achieve branch sales, margin and targets.
• Ensure first-class service to all customers and maintain strong relationships.
• Guide the branch team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve promotional targets.
• Manage branch running costs, stock control, stocktaking and adjustments.
• Oversee cash handling and manage key customer accounts.
• Support senior management with policies and procedures and communicate goals to the team.
• Oversee daily operations of the branch and health & safety compliance.
