Join E-ppl Ltd supporting major OEM automotive facilities in Solihull as an Auto Electrician on an outside IR35, ongoing contract. You will perform complex electrical reworks, loom building, and diagnostic fault-finding on new vehicle platforms (P/HEV and M/HEV).

This role offers a flat rate of £20.00/hr, paid weekly, with premium overtime rates. On-site parking and weekday shifts are provided, with opportunities to work on premium manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Recognised Auto Electrical Qualification Certificate, NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as Auto Electrician in OEM automotive manufacturing or high-volume vehicle rework environments.

Responsabilités

• Electrical System Reworks: Install, modify, and integrate vehicle wiring to OEM specs.
• Loom Building & Wiring Schematics: Read diagrams, build looms, modify circuits.
• Diagnostics & Rectification: Perform diagnostics, testing and fault-finding on vehicles.
• Vehicle Trim & Assembly: Remove and refit trims as required during electrical work.

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd supporting major OEM automotive facilities in Solihull. We are looking for skilled, adaptable Auto Electricians to perform complex electrical reworks, custom loom building, component installations, and diagnostic fault-finding on new vehicle platforms (including P/HEV and M/HEV systems).

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Reworks: Install, integrate, and modify complex vehicle wiring systems, body electronics, and harnesses to strict OEM build specifications.
• Loom Building & Wiring Schematics: Read and interpret OEM electrical wiring diagrams, build custom looms, and perform precise circuit modifications.
• Diagnostics & Rectification: Execute electrical diagnostics, testing, fault-finding, and rectification on assembly and prototype vehicles.
• Vehicle Trim & Assembly: Remove and refit interior/exterior trims and light mechanical components as required during electrical work.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain high build standards while adhering strictly to workshop Health & Safety policies.

Location & Commute

Conveniently located in Solihull, with direct access via the M42, A45, and A34.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Shirley, Tamworth, and the wider West Midlands.

• Qualifications: Recognised Auto Electrical Qualification Certificate, NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent).
• Security Clearance: Must be eligible and able to achieve standard background & security checks (fully managed and supported by E-ppl).
• Experience: Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in an OEM, automotive manufacturing, or high-volume vehicle rework environment.
