A leading vehicle conversion specialist in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for a full-time role. You'll perform various electrical installations on bespoke vehicle conversions, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and prefer to have their own tool kit. This position offers competitive pay between £10.50 - £14.50 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Solid working knowledge of vehicle conversion electrical systems.
  • Experience with alarms, immobilisers, tracking devices, and parking sensors.
  • Preferred own basic tool kit.

Auto Electrician - Vehicle Conversion
Doncaster | Full-time, Permanent | £10.50 - £14.50 per hour (DOE)

Join one of the UK's leading vehicle conversion specialists as an Vehicle Conversions and become part of a skilled and supportive team.Based across two close-knit Doncaster sites, this role covers a wide variety of electrical duties within our vehicle conversion department.

About the Role
You'll be working on bespoke vehicle conversions as an auto electrician, fitting a wide range of electrical systems to a high standard.You'll need to be professional, flexible, detail-focused, and capable of maintaining consistent, quality workmanship.

Experienced Auto Electricians - What We're Looking For
You should have a solid working knowledge of:

  • Towbars and external/internal lighting systems
  • Beacons, auxiliary lighting on panel vans and chassis
  • Installation and maintenance of:
    • Alarms & immobilisers
    • Tracking devices
    • Parking sensors
    • Split-charge systems
    • Tail lifts
    • Welfare unit electrics (heating, water, power systems)
  • Electrical fault diagnosis and repair
  • Electrical component replacement
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Confident use of hand and power tools
  • Own basic tool kit (preferred)
