Specialist Tutor Needed – One-to-One Support for Primary Child with Severe Autism

Are you a patient, creative, and experienced educator ready to make a real difference?
We’re looking for a dedicated tutor to provide one-to-one support for a primary-aged child with severe autism who thrives on routine, structure, and visual timetables.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for special educational needs (SEN) to offer consistent, meaningful support in a nurturing environment.
Location: Birmingham (B10 area)

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience working with pupils with Autism, PMLD, and complex learning needs.

  • A dynamic and creative teaching style, with the ability to tailor learning to the individual.

  • Confidence in identifying areas for development and adapting resources accordingly.

  • Experience with PECS and a solid understanding of alternative communication strategies.

  • A driving licence is preferred but not essential.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
