Edex in Tower Hamlets is seeking an Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant to support two KS1 pupils (ages 5–7) with ASD. Start September 2026. Full-time, term-time only, with a focus on a safe, stimulating learning environment and targeted SEN interventions.
You will liaise with Class Teachers and the SENCO, track progress, and coordinate with the school’s therapists. The school emphasises togetherness, inclusion and teamwork, and offers supportive resources to help every child thrive.

An exceptional Primary School in Tower Hamlets is on the search for a creative and driven Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant to start for September 2026, full time / term time only and help drive the success of students with Autism (ASD).
Your duties will include but are not limited to teaching, guiding and supporting 2 children with Autism in KS1, and helping them grow and thrive in the schooling environment.
The perfect Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant would showcase attention, care and compassion.
If you have experience with children aged 2- 7 (EYFS / KS1) with Autism or SEN, we would love to hear from you! This does not need to be direct schooling experience. All transferable skills / experience will be considered.
