Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking an Autism School Support Worker to join a specialist autism provision in the Leeds area on a long-term basis. The full-time post is due to start immediately, with shortlisting currently taking place.

The school provides a calm, structured and highly supportive environment, placing a strong emphasis on communication, emotional regulation and personalised learning for pupils with ASC. You will work with teachers and support staff to deliver individualised plans.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, youth work or support work.
• Proven experience supporting children or young people with autism.
• Strong knowledge of autism-specific approaches, communication methods and sensory needs.
• Two education or school-based references.
