Job summary

Education and Services for People with Autism Ltd is seeking a Team Leader to work in a Supported Living service in North Tyneside, supporting three young men, and providing outreach support to a young man in his tenancy in Tynemouth.

The role requires experience delivering services to autistic adults and young people with complex needs, a mature, confident and compassionate approach, and knowledge of positive behavioural approaches to model best practice at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to autistic adults and young people with complex needs.
• Ability to lead a team with maturity, confidence and compassion.
• Knowledge of positive behavioural approaches and applying best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Supported Living service for three young men in North Tyneside and provide outreach support to a young man in his own tenancy in Tynemouth.
• Model best practice and support staff through intensive induction and ongoing training.
• Contribute to high-quality, person-centred support that delivers services of excellence.
