Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant for a full-time, ongoing role at a welcoming primary school in Hillingdon, starting October 2026. The ARP unit supports pupils with ASC and communication difficulties in a structured mainstream setting.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, delivering and assisting with individualised learning plans, and helping with routines, sensory regulation and behaviour support; pay is £95-£105 per day, with weekly

Qualifications

• Experience with children with additional needs, particularly autism.
• Patience, empathy and a consistent approach to support.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service) and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND (primarily ASD) in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans.
• Assisting with daily routines, sensory regulation, and behaviour support.
• Helping to build confidence, independence, and communication skills.
