Qualifications
Experience or personal knowledge of working with individuals with Autism.
Understanding of TEACCH or ABA principles is advantageous.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support to students with Autism.
Use communication tools to support learning.
Help manage sensory environment and ensure safety.
Recognise signs of emotional deregulation and implement strategies.
Facilitate structured play to support social interactions.
Contribute to the school’s autism support strategy.
