Qualifications
Experience or personal knowledge of working with individuals with Autism (professional or personal).
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) and commitment to safeguarding.
Ability to provide patient and kind support during challenging moments.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support to students with Autism to achieve daily learning tasks aligned with EHCP goals.
Use visual schedules and communication tools to support learning and transitions.
Help manage sensory environment to reduce overload and maintain student safety.
Skills
Experience working with individuals with Autism
Understanding of TEACCH or ABA principles
