Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting an Autism Support Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN school in East Grinstead. You will support children with ASD on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them develop communication, social and independence skills.

The role focuses on sensory needs and emotional regulation, requires a caring, patient approach, and involves working closely with teachers and other SEN professionals. Term-time, full-time position with pay per day £93-105.

Qualifications

We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school based in East Grinstead, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional learning needs.

This is Autism Support Teaching Assistant in East Grinstead is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous SEN experience, a background in childcare, or a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable hands‑on experience.

The Role - Autism Support Teaching Assistant:
