Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking an Autism Support Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. You will support children with ASD on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them develop communication, social and independence skills.

This full-time, term-time role runs Monday to Friday with pay per day of £93-£105, and requires a patient, nurturing approach. Travel to Burgess Hill is required and prior SEN/childcare experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with ASD, SEN, childcare or a similar setting is desirable.
• Psychology, Education and Childhood Studies graduates are encouraged to apply.
• A patient, nurturing and understanding approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Able to travel to Burgess Hill.

We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school based in Burgess Hill, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional learning needs.

This is Autism Support Teaching Assistant in Burgess Hill is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous SEN experience, a background in childcare, or a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.
