Job summary

Five Education are looking for a caring and reliable Learning Mentor to support pupils in Taunton, with a focus on children with autism. You will work 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils engage with learning activities and daily routines, while encouraging communication and positive behaviour.

The role involves working closely with teachers and support staff in a SEND setting. Experience in school or SEND is preferred; DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

• Experience supporting children with autism (professional or personal).
• Calm, patient and nurturing.
• Ability to adapt to individual needs and structured routines.
• Understanding safeguarding and child welfare.
