Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to support children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs in the Pickering/Kirkbymoorside area. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible, with potential to lead to a permanent contract.

Requirements include experience with children, young people or vulnerable adults; SEN experience preferred; patience, drive and determination; willingness to extend and expand your skillset,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 8–19 with a wide range of special educational needs.

Autism Support Assistant, Kirkbymoorside

Pay: £460 - £500 per week (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to support children and young people aged 8 - 19 years old with a wide range of special educational needs. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), starting as soon as possible, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract. We also have positions available for a start next half term too, so whether you are available now or planning ahead for next term we would like to hear from you.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Autism Support Assistant position, the school have asked for:

• Someone who has worked with children, young people or vulnerable adults in any capacity
• Someone who may have experience with supporting people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Someone with great patience, drive and determination
• Someone looking to extend and expand their skillset
