Job summary

AD Education UK is seeking a Mental Health Adviser with Autism expertise to join the Student Wellbeing Team at the Liverpool Campus. This Part-Time (0.6 FTE) role focuses on providing specialist advice, guidance and support to disabled students, managing a caseload with ASC focus, and promoting access to support services and DSAs.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing, promoting and evaluating wellbeing services, working with HE professionals, and maintaining up-to-date

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality disability support in higher education.
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum conditions and related support needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice, guidance and support to disabled students.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on autism-related needs.
• Encourage and assist students to access Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and necessary support.
