Job summary

Progress School is looking for a flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Education team in the United Kingdom. You will work alongside teachers to help pupils across key stages, support learning activities and contribute to a calm classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have resilience, good communication, and a willingness to adapt. A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) is preferred, with safeguarding checks and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom support or similar roles preferred.
• Resilience to support vulnerable learners with diverse needs.
• Strong communication to coordinate with staff and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with pupil work and activities.
• Support behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a role model.
