Join a leading organization dedicated to supporting autistic young people in a rewarding and impactful role as an Autism Practitioner. You'll apply your skills and passion to transform lives, providing tailored support and guidance to those in need, with opportunities for professional growth through comprehensive training and a clear career path.
We're looking for caring, patient, fun people from all backgrounds to join our teams working with autistic young people with complex needs. Whether you have experience in a care environment or not, but have a passion to help transform the lives of the young people at Prior's Court — we'd love to hear from you.
We offer a direct-to-site transport service for our Autism Practitioners, with pick-up and drop-off points in Oxford, Newbury, Reading, Swindon, & Basingstoke.
Every shift for an Autism Practitioner can change a life. It's a care role, a teaching role, a role model role. It's varied, a career, a passion, teamwork, challenging, rewarding — it's for you. We operate a rota based on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts throughout 52 weeks of the year, including weekends and public holidays. Our early shift starts at 7 am and finishes at 4 pm, and our late shift starts at 2 pm and finishes at 10 pm.
For those without experience in care, we offer comprehensive, free training including hands-on work alongside experienced team members. This results in the completion of a Level 3 diploma, upon which you will receive a salary increase (usually within your first 12 months) and become eligible for promotion to Autism Practitioner Level 2.
Many colleagues have changed careers to work with us and now find it thoroughly rewarding to support autistic young people at Prior's Court.
Prior's Court is a registered charity providing education and residential care for autistic young people with complex needs, aged 5-25. Located on a 50-acre site in Berkshire, we have extensive bespoke facilities to help our young people become healthy, happy, more independent, and to access the world of work.
We recognize that small achievements are major milestones for autistic young people. Gaining a daily life skill or conquering anxiety today can be a stepping stone toward future work placements or shared family moments.
We are ambitious for our young people and aspire to be a global leader in supporting autistic young people with complex needs. Our goal is to deliver outcomes beyond imagination, transforming lives and sharing practice improvements worldwide.
