A leading charity in the UK is looking for compassionate individuals to join their team as Autism Practitioners. This role involves working closely with autistic young people to aid in their personal development and daily care. Candidates will benefit from extensive training, competitive salaries, and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
We're looking for caring, patient, fun people from all backgrounds to join our teams working with autistic young people with complex needs. Whether you have experience in a care environment or not, but have a passion to help transform the lives of the young people at Prior's Court - we'd love to hear from you.
We offer a direct-to-site transport service for our Autism Practitioners, with pick-up and drop-off points in Oxford, Newbury, Reading, Swindon, & Basingstoke.
Every shift for an Autism Practitioner changes a life. It's a care role, a teaching role, a role model role. It's varied, a career, a passion, teamwork, challenging, rewarding — it's for you. We operate a rota based on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts throughout 52 weeks of the year, including weekends and public holidays. Our early shift starts at 7am and finishes at 4pm; our late shift starts at 2pm and finishes at 10pm.
For those not experienced in care, we offer comprehensive, free training including hands-on work alongside experienced and senior team members. This results in the completion of a Level 3 diploma, which will lead to a salary increase upon completion (usually within your first 12 months) and eligibility for promotion to Autism Practitioner Level 2.
We have colleagues who have changed careers to work with us and now find it thoroughly rewarding to support autistic young people at Prior's Court.
Prior's Court is a registered charity providing education and residential care for autistic young people with complex needs, aged 5-25. Located on a 50-acre site in Berkshire, we have extensive bespoke facilities to help young people become healthier, happier, more independent, and to access the world of work.
We understand that the little things are actually the big things for an autistic young person, celebrating milestones like gaining a life skill or conquering anxiety as major achievements. Daily life skills and milestones are steps toward future independence and shared moments with family.
Prior's Court is ambitious. We aspire to be a global leader for autistic young people with complex needs, delivering outcomes beyond imagination, transforming lives, and sharing practice improvements worldwide.
