Scottish Autism is seeking committed Autism Practitioners to support a young autistic man as he shapes a new service. You will work closely with him to build routines, support daily activities, and foster independence in a home-based, 2:1 setting.
The role requires flexibility for shifts including weekends/evenings; a full UK driving licence is beneficial. PVG/SSSC checks are required, and the organization offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Full Time and Part Time positions available
Starting at
£13.45 per hour, rising to £13.67 after engagement. Opportunity to progress to £14.15 at your own pace.

At Scottish Autism we acknowledge the specialist support our staff provide toautisticpeople, thereforethose carrying out supportwork are known as Autism Practitioners. We are committed to supporting over 60 autistic adults across Fife, providing personalised care across a variety of settings. Our services range in their level of complexity and have varying staffing ratios including 1:1 and 2:1 support.

would be beneficial (although not essential), as he enjoys scenic drives and visiting quiet local parks. This is a
2:1 support service
, where you'll help him engage in sensory activities at home, develop independent living skills, and build meaningful daily routines. He has a passion for music, enjoys relaxing in his hot tub, and values spending time doing the things that make him happy and comfortable.

Shift pattern includes days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends. Some contracts have waking nights – ask more for waking night rate and shift pattern.
