Scottish Autism is seeking Autism Practitioners to provide compassionate support to autistic adults across Fife, with 1:1 and 2:1 care settings. The role involves building relationships, enabling participation in activities, and developing personalised plans in collaboration with families and staff.
Evening, weekend shifts and occasional sleepovers are part of the schedule. A full UK driver’s license is advantageous; SVQ development is funded for eligible staff. PVG checks apply.

Starting at
£13.45 per hour, rising to £13.67 after engagement. Opportunity to progress to £14.15 at your own pace.

Our services range in their level of complexity and have varying staffing ratios including 1:1 and 2:1 support.

Full UK Driver's License
would be beneficial to support our supported individuals to access their local community.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake shift work, including weekends and evenings, so flexibility towards working hours is key. There are physical elements to this role.
Shift pattern includes days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends. Some contracts have waking nights – ask more for waking night rate and shift pattern.
These posts are subject to a PVG Disclosure check. All new employees must have applied to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months of starting in post and be registered within 6 months. Scottish Autism cover all the costs of PVG membership and SSSC Registration for employees.
