To provide high-quality education support services to Service Users in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, and standards set by the Regulatory Body.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the class teacher and/or tutor to ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full.
  2. Provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible.
  3. Promote, in line with company policies, the physical, educational, and moral development of students.
  4. Ensure that equipment and resources are used, stored, and maintained efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
  5. Support the class teacher and/or tutor in organizing the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment suitable for students with autism spectrum disorder.
  6. Assist the teacher/tutor in writing, updating, implementing, and evaluating documentation related to the individual student, including Behaviour Support Profile (BSP), Individual Risk Assessment, Individual Education Plan, Communication Profile, and Pastoral Support Plan as required and appropriate.
