Unitemps in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in a specialist educational setting. You will provide direct and indirect therapy to autistic children and young adults, supporting communication, social interaction and independence.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HCPC.
• Membership of the RCSLT.
• Clinical experience in paediatric speech and language therapy.
• Interest in autism and special educational needs.
• Experience writing clinical reports for EHCPs/Annual Reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy (direct and indirect) to pupils.
• Assess and support receptive and expressive language difficulties.
• Develop attention, listening and social communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals.
• Prepare clear clinical reports for annual reviews and EHCPs.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards.
