Autism Care Assistant for a 12-year-old - Part Time @ £12.40/hr in LS14 - FTE - £24,200

Support worker needed in Seacroft, Leeds 14, with a rate of pay of £12.40 per hour. This role involves 6 hours per week, mainly on weekends, with scheduling to be arranged with the employer. The role is to support our 12-year-old daughter who has autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. She is sometimes non-verbal and may struggle with communication.

The successful personal assistant (PA) will support our daughter to access activities such as swimming, arts and crafts. She enjoys caring for animals and insects, cooking, baking, building Lego, and playing Minecraft. The PA will need to assist with grooming, such as brushing her hair, and establish a trusting relationship.

A driver's license is preferred but not essential, as our daughter has a bus pass. Training will be provided.
