Job description

Auditor – Invoice Finance – Thames Valley – CRS

A highly successful independent Invoice Finance business is seeking an experienced Auditor / Surveyor to join their team in the Thames Valley.

This is a field-based role responsible for conducting audits of existing clients within the portfolio to ensure the security of the business position, proper administration and operation of facilities according to terms, and to identify any areas of concern.

The role also involves conducting new business surveys as directed and reporting back to senior staff on the suitability of businesses for invoice finance facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking thorough reviews of prospect and client businesses, providing timely, accurate, and concise reports with well-reasoned findings and recommendations.
  • Prioritising workloads effectively to meet changing business needs.
  • Supporting Credit & Risk-related projects and general duties as directed by the Risk Director.
  • Fostering a positive and professional working environment to engage clients and prospects, ensuring client retention and maximising income opportunities.
  • Managing risk by adhering to operational systems and processes.
  • Assisting with internal audits of regional offices, providing reports on operational and process compliance.

Candidates should be highly self-motivated, with a background in Invoice Finance / ABL, especially in risk and operations, and possess a strong understanding of accounting and financial analysis.
