Lead Auditor needed in Manchester - Paying £200 per day (Ref: 000A 08FA /1)

Full-time hours on a temporary basis

• We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to plan and deliver complex, technical, and sensitive fraud investigations. This role focuses on fraud, including housing tenancy and council tax fraud, and requires a proactive investigator with strong decision-making skills.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess allegations and referrals, plan investigations, and evaluate evidence
  • Conduct interviews, including under caution (PACE)
  • Prepare detailed case files and written reports
  • Recommend outcomes ranging from no further action to prosecution or police referral
  • Contribute to anti-fraud policy, process development, and proactive reviews
