Job Description: Auditor - Belfast (Temporary)

Reed Recruitment, in partnership with a well-known Public Body Institution based in Belfast, is seeking experienced Auditors for immediate, full-time, temporary roles lasting 2-6 months. Reporting to an Audit Manager, the main duties include:

  1. Delivering quality audits
  2. Preparing audit methods
  3. Assisting with audit fieldwork to ensure timely delivery
  4. Summarising evidence and analysis
  5. Drafting clear, concise documentation and findings
  6. Formulating conclusions and recommendations
  7. Building professional relationships and addressing issues
  8. Organising work according to the audit plan
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current full membership of one of the following chartered accountant institutes:
  • Chartered Accountants Ireland
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
  • The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
  • The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
  • The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
  • The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland
  • At least 1 year's recent external audit experience
  • Access to transport for client site visits
  • Right to Work in the UK
