What that means day to day

1. Conduct risk-based, desktop health and safety audits aligned with our accreditation standards.
2. Liaise directly with customers, guiding them through the assessment process and helping them compile necessary documentation.
3. Evaluate customer submissions and determine compliance with our standards before issuing accreditation.
4. Provide clear, constructive feedback on non-conformances, supporting customers in making necessary improvements.
5. Deliver professional health and safety advice and excellent customer service.
6. Work to achieve productivity and quality KPIs in a target-driven environment.
7. Produce detailed and accurate audit reports.

What you'll need to be successful

Essential:

• Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Experience in health and safety or compliance-related roles.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Tech IOSH membership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident handling customer interactions, particularly over the phone.
• Organised, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.

Desirable:

• At least 2 years of experience in the health and safety or construction industry.
