My client, a leading global Investment Bank, are looking to hire a Vice President within their internal audit team in Dublin. The team is spread across the globe and delivers audits across a wide range of business areas including Finance, Legal, HR, Compliance, and Operational Risk. This role will be focusing on leading audits on Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP).

Salary: ₠100,000 - ₠130,000

Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 3 days in office per week)

Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver audit reviews both regionally and globally, with a focus on areas like ICAAP and RRP.
  • Scrutinise business processes to pinpoint key risks and assess the effectiveness of internal control frameworks.
  • Review adherence to corporate policies and major regulatory obligations related to financial, liquidity, and resolution reporting.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis, record audit findings, and ensure corrective measures have addressed core risks.
  • Support the preparation of audit summaries and collaborate with business leaders to communicate key insights.
  • Handle follow-up validations independently and demonstrate agility in managing shifting workloads and priorities.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Strong experience of Internal Audit, and preferably a professional certification like ACA, ACCA, or FRM.
  • Relevant experience in auditing financial, regulatory, or liquidity reporting; or experience in financial reporting or product control.
  • Must have strong knowledge of either ICAAP or RRP processes, experience with capital/liquidity regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and data analysis (e.g., Alteryx, Excel, SQL); strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
