Audit Team Leader

Here at Rawlinson & Hunter LLP, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit professional to join our Audit Services Team as an Audit Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to manage and execute audits for a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to large, complex groups.

What You’ll Do:
As a Team Leader within the Audit Services Team, you'll play an important role in guiding and mentoring our junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your day to day will include:

1. Working closely with managers and directors on audit risk assessments and planning.
2. Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of audit assignments.
3. Guiding and supporting junior staff, both on-site and off-site.
4. Liaising extensively with clients during the planning, fieldwork, and completion phases of audits.
5. Participating in the training and development of ACA students and the staff review process.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Recently qualified with an ACA qualification.
2. Excellent technical skills with varied statutory audit and accounts preparation experience.
3. Strong, up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 & ISAs (knowledge of IFRS is a plus).
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A team-oriented approach and a 'can-do' attitude.
6. Ability to delegate and supervise junior staff.
7. Ability to work under pressure to high standards.
8. Proficiency in IT and adaptability to technological changes.
