A leading accountancy practice in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Team Leader to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA part-qualified or newly qualified auditor looking to step up into a more senior, supervisory role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role:You ll play a key role in the audit team, leading fieldwork, supervising junior staff, and working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audits. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of audit and accounts work, with plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading audits from planning through to completion
Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work on-site and in the office
Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102
Working with managers on risk assessments and audit planning
Supporting ACA trainees and contributing to their development
Ensuring work is delivered within deadlines and to a high technical standard
ACA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent)
Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice (essential)
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and UK audit standards
Good communication and leadership skills
A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
Confident managing client relationships and leading fieldwork
