Job description

Are you a qualified Auditor, ready to join a Top 20 Firm with a tight-knit and friendly team with lots of progression on offer?

The salary for this role is £53,000 - £57,000, and the role is a split between Audit (70%) and Accounts (30%). You will be assigned a Director/Partner mentor to work on your own personal development with progression opportunities at every level. This is a Firm that will give you all of the support you require to reach your own goals.


Responsibilities:
As an Audit Supervisor, you will:

  • Involvement in planning, supervising, and carrying out full end-to-end audits
  • Responsibility for achieving agreed budgets and meeting deadlines
  • Setting objectives for more junior staff and supervising on-site, reviewing their work and coaching on the job where necessary to enable them to develop and progress.


Requirements:
As an Audit Supervisor, you will need:

  • Qualified to ACA/ACCA or internationally recognised chartered accounting qualification
  • Experience leading audit teams, including group audits
  • Must have completed 3 audits in the last year with a turnover of £20m+.
  • Technically competent, including solid experience and understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
  • Experience in both substantive and controls-based audits
  • Expertise in delivery of the primary accounting frameworks
