ProTalent is helping an independent audit firm in Horsham, West Sussex, hire an Audit Senior or Semi-Senior. The role covers diverse audits across financial services, solicitors, charities, and owner-managed businesses with strong scope for tax/advisory work.

Expect responsibility for planning, fieldwork, and reporting, plus supervision of juniors. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £45,000 with full ACA/ACCA study support available and clear progression routes.

Qualifications

• UK practice audit experience preferred.
• Part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA considered.
• CTA exposure helpful for tax and advisory path.

Responsibilities

• Run audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Fieldwork on client site and in the office.
• Regulated audit work across financial services and solicitor clients.
• Charity and not-for-profit audits under SORP.
• Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Corporation tax computations alongside the audit work.
• Supervising and reviewing junior staff, if you're coming in at Senior level.
