Job Description:

Our Big 4 client works with leading international and local clients, with the Audit teams being a highly regarded service line within the business. They are seeking to enhance their financial services audit team and are keen to hear from strong professionals with full qualification in ACA or ACCA who have a valid UK work visa dated from before April 2024.

The team leverages cutting-edge technology, and the Financial Services practice is committed to excellence, with quality and innovation as top priorities in the specialist services we deliver, providing greater value to clients in banking, investment funds, securitisation, insurance, and leasing.

Some information about the role:

  • The Audit Senior is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the audit engagement for review by the Engagement Manager and/or Partner.
  • Assist with audit planning, including staffing and deadlines.
  • Attend client audit planning meetings.
  • Prepare financial statements and high-quality work papers.
  • Plan, control, and review the work of the audit team.
  • Deploy staff effectively.
  • Delegate to the audit team and provide on-the-job training.
  • Close all queries raised by the manager on audit work papers.
  • Complete audit files and bring assignments to completion.

About you:

  • An ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Financial Services experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
