Our partner provides essential audit services to large institutions worldwide, including the United Nations & The World Bank. The specialist team manages international development grant-funded programmes and is recognized as a global leader in this field.

We are seeking a proactive individual who can manage tasks independently and collaborate effectively with team members. The role involves regular communication with senior managers, directors, and partners to enhance service delivery and identify new opportunities.

The team works closely with UN agencies, the European Commission, Foundations, and other Development Agencies involved in international development. Services include financial and systems audits, certifications, internal control assessments, technical assistance, and consultancy.

As an Audit Senior, you will lead meetings with institutions and beneficiaries, coordinate audit teams, and produce audit reports. You will represent the organization to multiple stakeholders, including international development agencies and partners.

This role requires international travel (up to 40%), remote audit management, and a deep understanding of the development sector and international donors' activities. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing tailored plans based on terms of reference and contractual conditions
• Leading client and auditee meetings, presenting findings clearly at closing
• Managing fieldwork teams on-site and virtually
• Identifying issues and non-compliance, documenting findings in reports
• Leading country-wide teams as the client focal point
• Delivering work within deadlines and managing time effectively

You should have:

• A professional accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• A strong interest in international development and willingness to travel
• Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in audit and assurance work
