Job Description:

Our tier 1 client, with over specialists in financial services, provides quality assurance to their clients across the Asset Management industry. They work with a range of clients from small start-ups to large international organizations and FTSE companies, leveraging their expertise to help clients succeed in achieving their business goals.

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be an essential member within the asset management practice, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. You will also support partners in client work and in managing the group and, occasionally, the wider firm.

Role

• Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client, alongside the Partner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, serving as a principal point of contact throughout the year.
• Develop a strong commercial understanding of clients' businesses.
• Identify business and sales opportunities with new clients and inform the Partner accordingly.
• Represent the firm at marketing events and stay informed about the firm's wide range of services.
• Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate employees, including participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring timely completion of appraisal documentation.
• Complete assignments within budgets and timescales, and identify opportunities for additional billing.

Requirements

• ACA/ICAS qualified or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Good knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
• Experience working with clients in the asset management sector.
• Knowledge of financial products, advice, regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
• Experience in systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
• Project management experience.
