NXTGEN is seeking an Audit Senior to join a forward‑thinking accountancy practice in the United Kingdom. You will take ownership of audits from planning through to completion, ensure high quality work, and manage client relationships while guiding trainees and junior staff.

The role requires ACA or ACCA qualification (or finalist) with solid UK audit experience, strong knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102/ISAs, and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist with strong audit experience.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and ISAs.
• Excellent communication and ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• Experience supervising junior team members.

Responsabilités

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review audit documentation and testing.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Build strong client relationships and be the main client contact.
• Supervise and mentor trainees and junior staff.
• Coordinate with managers and partners on findings and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
