Broad Purpose of Job

Carrying out audit and accounting assignments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertake audit assignments from planning to completion for review by the firm’s Audit Manager.
2. Manage the process of preparing accounts and corporation tax computations, including working on consolidated accounts.
3. Assist the Director and Audit Manager with quality control aspects of auditing and accounting.
4. Oversee the work of audit juniors and assist with their training in audit procedures.
5. Ensure all deadlines are met and manage workload to prioritize urgent tasks.
6. Liaise directly with clients to gather information for audits and address queries.
7. Support the accounts team with the preparation of statutory accounts, Corporation Tax returns, and personal tax returns.
8. Perform any other reasonable tasks as required.
