Job summary

Sumer in Tamworth is seeking an Audit Senior to support the delivery of audit assignments, working with seniors, managers, and clients to ensure high-quality work. You will assist in executing audit procedures, liaising with clients, and developing your technical expertise as you take on more responsibility in engagements.

The role involves on-site audits, mentoring juniors, and contributing to findings while building strong client relationships and maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Soon to complete or completed ACA/ACCA studies.
• Proven experience in audit and accounts, with a solid understanding of quality and regulatory standards
• Familiar with risk assessment and effective control measures within the audit process
• Skilled in managing client relationships and addressing their needs effectively
• Up-to-date with relevant accounting and auditing standards, including FRS and IFRS
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions
• Experience with CaseWare and CCH is beneficial but not required

As an Audit Senior, you will support the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with seniors, assistant managers, and managers. You will assist in executing audit procedures, liaising with clients, and ensuring high-quality work. Additionally, you will begin to take on more responsibility in audit engagements, reviewing aspects of junior team members' work, providing support, and developing your technical expertise.
