Audit Senior – Solent Office, Hampshire

Location: Hampshire (Solent Region)

Our Client, A Top Ranked accountancy practice in the Solent area is expanding, with new opportunities for an Audit Senior or Semi-Senior to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team. This role is ideal for an ambitious audit professional either newly qualified or approaching qualification

The Opportunity

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of ambitious businesses, from growing international groups to established UK corporates, across a broad range of sectors. As part of a supportive team, you’ll lead audit assignments from planning to completion, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in maintaining long-standing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships and act as a key point of contact during engagements
  • Ensure audits are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by applying fresh thinking and tech-led solutions
  • Collaborate with other departments and across international networks where applicable

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist with relevant audit experience
  • Proven track record in external audit within UK accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of FRS 102 (IFRS experience a plus)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working both remotely and on client sites across the region
  • Committed to supporting the growth and development of junior staff
