Audit Senior – Solent Office, Hampshire

Our Client, A Top Ranked accountancy practice in the Solent area is expanding, with new opportunities for an Audit Senioror Semi-Senior to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team. This role is ideal for an ambitious audit professional either newly qualified or approaching qualification

The Opportunity

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of ambitious businesses, from growing international groups to established UK corporates, across a broad range of sectors. As part of a supportive team, you’ll lead audit assignments from planning to completion, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in maintaining long-standing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion

Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members

Build strong, trusted client relationships and act as a key point of contact during engagements

Ensure audits are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Contribute to continuous improvement by applying fresh thinking and tech-led solutions

Collaborate with other departments and across international networks where applicable

What We’re Looking For

ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist with relevant audit experience

Proven track record in external audit within UK accountancy practice

Strong knowledge of FRS 102 (IFRS experience a plus)

Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset

Comfortable working both remotely and on client sites across the region

Committed to supporting the growth and development of junior staff
