Job summary

Pro-Finance in Portsmouth is seeking an Audit Senior to lead and deliver audit fieldwork, plan and execute assignments, and prepare statutory financial statements from client data.

You will identify risks, ensure files are compliant, mentor junior staff, and support client relationships in a collaborative, career‑minded firm that offers study support and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong audit experience in a professional practice.
• Confident managing client relationships and deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures.
• Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments with minimal supervision.

• Identify and communicate risk areas or key issues to Managers/Partners.
• Ensure audit files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Support the planning, execution, and finalisation of audits for review.
• Mentor, coach, and support junior team members.
