Description

DPC is looking for an organised, proactive Audit Senior to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading audits on client engagements, solving accounting challenges, and working closely with both clients and colleagues. You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day audit work, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality delivery while continuing to develop your career in audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan and perform audit testing, identify risks, and document findings.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff, providing coaching and reviewing their work.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting issues and recommendations to clients.
  • Liaise with clients, answering queries and providing professional advice.
  • Ensure all work complies with auditing standards, regulations, and internal quality requirements.
  • Support process improvements within the audit team and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Previous audit experience, ideally with exposure to a range of clients and industries.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and supervising junior staff.
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues effectively.
