Job summary

Pro Finance is seeking an Audit Senior to lead audits, manage client relationships and develop junior staff in a busy Chelmsford practice.

You’ll take ownership from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK standards (ISAs, FRS 102) while working with a varied client portfolio and contributing to a supportive training-focused firm culture.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification.
• Experience leading audit assignments in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of ISAs and FRS 102; excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Audit SeniorACA / ACCA Career Progression ChelmsfordPro Finance is working with a growing and respected accountancy practice seeking an Audit Senior to join its established team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional, or someone nearing qualification, looking to take ownership of audits, work with a varied client portfolio, and progress their career within a firm that invests heavily in training and development.

The Role

You’ll lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with clients while supporting and developing junior team members.

You’ll also have exposure to group audits, consolidated accounts, and a range of advisory-focused projects.

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience leading audit assignments
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and ISAs
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
