Audit Senior/Manager, Liverpool


Your new firm

A leading independent firm based in Liverpool are seeking an experienced Audit Senior or Manager to join their growing team. This firm delivers a wide range of services including audit, accounting, tax, outsourcing, corporate finance, restructuring, and wealth management to a range of clients in varying industries with turnovers of up to approximately £9 million. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a role in a people-focused practice which is committed to providing their staff with excellent professional development opportunities.


Your new role

As Audit Senior, you will lead and manage onsite audits throughout the North West. You will manage and lead the full audit cycle from planning through to presentation of reports. You will support the Audit Partner to plan and execute audits for a diverse and growing client base and you will be required to deliver an efficient audit service. You will work closely with an experienced team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development with excellent growth plans.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within an audit team in a general practice. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an effective team and have a strong sense of accountability. Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role.


What you'll get in return

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience. As well as a competitive firm-wide benefits package including holidays and pension contributions. Company social events and team days will also be provided as the firm promotes a positive and supportive work environment.
