Base pay range

DMOS People is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a progressive and people-focused accountancy practice in Hereford, who are entering an exciting new phase of growth and development. As they expand their team, they’re looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid experience in practice who’s ready to work with a diverse range of clients, from local owner-managed businesses to charities and education providers.

What you could be doing...

• Preparing year-end financial statements and statutory accounts
• Supporting and running audits from planning through to completion
• Working across a broad client base, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and not-for-profits
• Collaborating with managers and partners to ensure audit work is completed on time and to budget
• Assisting with the training and development of junior team members
• Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the wider success of the firm

What we’re looking for...

• At least 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice (accounts and/or audit)
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience will all be considered
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software
• Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing your own workload
• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working with a wide variety of client types and sectors
• A full driving licence and access to a car
