Base pay range

Audit Senior - London

About the Role:

The Audit Senior will join a growing London-based Corporate Audit team working across diverse sectors, including charities, financial services, entrepreneurial SMEs, and large listed groups. This role offers a mix of audit, accounts preparation, and tax computation responsibilities, ensuring a varied workload.

Responsibilities:

• Leading onsite audit teams and planning engagements (70% audit focus).
• Preparing accounts and drafting tax computations (30% of the time).
• Coaching junior team members and reviewing their work.
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and escalate complex matters.
• Controlling assignment time within pre-set budgets.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA or ACCA part- or fully qualified.
• Experience conducting statutory audits in practice (minimum requirement).
• Knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and audit software (e.g., Caseware).
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
