Job summary

No1 Legal and Professional is recruiting an Audit Senior to lead statutory audits for a diverse client base, delivering high-quality results under UK GAAP and ISA (UK).

You will manage day-to-day audit delivery, plan risk-based procedures, review work of juniors, and coordinate with managers and partners to resolve issues across SMEs to large groups. The role offers exposure to group reporting, FRs 102, and opportunities for progression within the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, ISA (UK) and group reporting
• Independently manages day-to-day audit delivery across a portfolio of annual engagements

Responsibilities

• Leads statutory audit engagements, independently managing the day-to-day audit process
• Performs audit planning procedures including risk and materiality assessments in line with ISA (UK)
• Leads day-to-day audit fieldwork and acts as key point of contact for client finance teams
• Coordinates and reviews work completed by junior team members, providing guidance and feedback
• Works closely with Audit Managers, Assistant Managers and Partners to resolve audit issues
• Performs audit procedures across revenue, expenditure, payroll, investments and balance sheet testing
• Reviews financial statements prepared under FRS 102, including group and consolidated accounts
• Experience auditing organisations ranging from SMEs to large groups
