Audit Senior

Are you a qualified audit professional looking to build your career with a friendly, forward-thinking firm?

We’re looking for an Audit Senior based in or around Eastleigh who thrives on variety, client interaction, and high standards. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from dynamic SMEs to not-for-profit organisations, across a broad range of sectors.

As an Audit Senior, you’ll take ownership of client assignments from planning through to finalisation, leading on-site audits and acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the process. You’ll also be a mentor and role model to junior members of the team, supporting their growth while enhancing your own leadership and technical skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading audits from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
• Managing on-site teams and overseeing fieldwork
• Reviewing and finalising financial statements, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
• Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong, professional relationships
• Providing feedback, guidance, and training to junior team members
• Collaborating with managers and partners to deliver excellent service

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven UK audit experience in practice
• Strong technical knowledge of audit standards, UK GAAP, and financial reporting
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
• A proactive, organised and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with audit software (e.g., CaseWare) is a bonus, but not essential
